Jim Gibson, a Southern California native was born at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital to parents from a small coal mining town in Ohio. His parents raised him and his siblings with Midwestern values, placing an importance on family, and hard work. Jim attended Villa Park High School, and went on to graduate from California State University, Chico with a degree in finance. Since then, Jim has worn many hats in his professional life – from taxi driver to stock broker, real estate developer to farmer, all while raising his three children. Jim ultimately retired after owning and operating a small manufacturing business, and is passionate about his next endeavor – running for congress!
